"Seek more opportunities to put more love into the world.”
I was born and raised in the Port Richmond/Fishtown section of Philadelphia. These past couple of years, I watched our neighborhoods become infested with an epidemic that is growing rapidly, not only killing a devastating number of people but also affecting a number even greater — the parents and kids who are left behind to grieve, pick up the pieces and figure out how to move forward with their loved one no longer here. With the Pink Elephant Movement, it’s mission, it’s purpose, the amazing support from family, friends, neighbors and strangers, I have no doubt that a difference will be made in the lives of so many. Giving people an opportunity to heal in their darkest, most painful moments and bringing joy into the lives of those who so desperately need and deserve it. It has been a blessing to be a part of a solution-based organization and I am looking forward to watching it expand. When it’s my time to this leave world, I want to do so having made a positive impact on the lives of others. Through the work of the Pink Elephant Movement, with God in our corner, there is no doubt in my mind that goal will be attained.
