The Matthew Guyon Memorial Scholarship – Fall 2025
Matthew Guyon was an amazing guy who was born and raised in Philadelphia. He attended elementary school at St. Bernard’s, graduated from Roman Catholic HS, and thereafter attended Chestnut Hill College where he continued his lifelong soccer career.
Matt touched the hearts of so many throughout his years here. Unfortunately in 2016, after struggling with addiction, God called Matt home. With the efforts of his family, in May 2017, The Matthew Guyon Memorial Golf Outing was created to help keep his memory alive. The funds donated to The Pink Elephant Movement have helped countless amount of children since.
This year, The Matthew Guyon Memorial Scholarship has been adopted to use those funds specifically to help with the tuition of children who have been affected in some way by a loved one’s addiction. It is our hope and prayer that Matt’s memory will forever live on in all those who are helped by him still to this day.

The Joey C Memorial Scholarship – Fall 2024
Joey was a passionate person, who loved drawing and making people laugh. He loved being around his friends and family, bringing joy to others, thus showing Joey’s genuine love of life. Joey always wanted to be an electrician and was fortunate enough to be able to attend Eastern Tech School, which made his dream a reality.
Joey’s friends are a huge part of the success of the Joey C Foundation. They go above and beyond to participate in making our Cornhole Tournament possible from year to year. This is a testament to the love of Joey.
Tragically and unexpectedly we lost Joey, but we want to keep his memory, smile, and enthusiasm alive for everyone to get to know the exceptional person Joey thrived to be! The Joey C Foundation would like to gift this scholarship to someone who shows these attributes and the drive to succeed (JUST LIKE JOEY). Help us continue to keep Joey’s memory alive!
Thank you from the Joey C Foundation.
